This notification does not mean that there is something wrong with the cartridge.
Usually, it means that your firmware needs to be updated. If it's been quite a while since you received your evaSMART and you haven't updated your firmware yet, please do that.
To update the firmware please do the following steps:
- Connect your evaSMART to the Wi-Fi network first if you haven't yet (please, follow these steps to do that).
- Tap "SETTINGS" (gear icon in the upper-right corner) on any screen of the device management section in the app (you'll get to it when the device is connected).
- Tap the red update icon on the device settings screen.
- Confirm that you want to update.
