The basic principle
evaSMART is a portable personal device which not only chills but also humidifies and purifies the air around you. The working principle is very simple: you need to fill up the water tank and plug evaSMART in. Within 5-10 minutes the evaSMART cartridge absorbs a huge amount of water. The water then spreads evenly on the surface of the cooling pads. When the air goes through the pads, the water evaporates, which makes the air cool down while getting saturated with water. The built-in fan helps the cool air spread around the area up to 4m²/33ft² around you. The power control enables you to adjust the cooling effect, creating the most comfortable thermal conditions for you.
How does it work?
evaSMART is easy to operate: simply fill the removable water tank and connect evaSMART to a power supply. Within 5-10 minutes the evaSMART cartridge absorbs a huge amount of water. We've developed a special system that helps to prevent leakage even during transportation or tilting. The water then spreads evenly on the surface of the cooling pads. When the air blows through the pads, the water evaporates, which makes the air cool down while saturating it with water. There's no heat exhaust as result of the evaporation. The built-in fan helps the cool air spread over an area up to 4m²/33ft² around you, and moveable grill directs the flow. The power control enables you to adjust the air flow, creating most comfortable conditions for you.
The evaSMART evaporative cartridge needs to be replaced approximately once in 3-6 months. Poor air or water quality may affect the cartridge lifecycle duration. Every cartridge has an electronic microchip, so evaSMART will notify when it is time to change the cartridge in advance.
- What does the cooling degree depend on?
evaSMART is based on natural water evaporation technology, which takes in hot, dry air and makes it cool and moist. Evaporative air conditioners perform best in drier environments. It is normally dryer indoors than outdoors, and the actual temperature decrease depends on the air's humidity and temperature. The tables below show you evaSMART's performance for different air conditions.
- Temperature parameters
evaSMART Air Coolers work by using natural evaporative cooling so its power level can change in various climates. The charts below summarise the cooling power approximates in different aerial conditions in both Centigrade and Fahrenheit.
- Usage modes
The device is created to be used at any location that meets the humidity and temperature prerequisites from the tables above. Important: Due to outside conditions varying greatly, Evapolar is not responsible for the way that the device functions outdoors.
- How much noise does evaSMART make?
evaSMART is no louder than the cooling fan of your computer! The noise level depends on the intensity level you set yourself. The normal noise level is 25-40 dB on an average fan speed.
- Does evaSMART work without a power supply?
evaSMART should be plugged into a power supply. But it doesn’t have to be a power socket. You can plug evaSMART into a power bank, USB port of your car or laptop, or even a solar battery. The only condition is that the power supply must have the output of 5V and 2.5A.
- Tuning
You can alter the colour and brightness level of the lighting, temperature measurement units and water level indications. All of the above is done through the Menu or mobile application.
- Additional Cartridge
The evaSMART evaporative cartridge needs to be replaced approximately once in 6 months. Poor air or water quality may affect the cartridge lifecycle duration. Every cartridge has an electronic microchip so evaSMART will notify when it is time to change the cartridge in advance.
- Mobile application and Smart Home
The full list of device features, including humidifier and sleeping mode, is available through the mobile application that is connected to the device via Wi-Fi (not Bluetooth). All of the instructions for Evapolar mobile application usage are available in the application.
All of your evaSMART devices are accessible through Amazon Alexa. To do so, please read the manual of the Home Assistant that you wish to reach.

Important:
— Do not use the device in temperatures exceeding 60°C (140°F). Failing to do so can damage both the body and internal components of the device.
— The Air Cooler performs at its best in well-ventilated premises.
— We strongly do not recommend using aromatic oils or incenses.
— To avoid water spillage, do not move the device whilst it is filled with water; see paragraph on Transportation.
— Take care when pouring water into the reservoir that is still attached to the device; do not spill water onto the body of the device.
